Opinions?? Mucus plug pieces? No picture!!

Ftm so really clueless and of course nervous about going into labor and over analyzing every thing 😉 so just looking for opinions! I've been having more and more frequent Braxton hicks the last few days and have been having a lot of lower back pain and pelvic pressure this morning. Just went to the restroom and when I wiped there was a lot of discharge, which I know is normal for this time of pregnancy, but there was also some chunks which I haven't had before. Could this pieces of the mucus plug starting to come out? I'm 37 and 6 today.

Definitely could be. I was just told in my class that when it starts to come out you have anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks!

Thanks ladies!! I am so not good at the waiting and not knowing when it is going to happen part haha I wish it was like this is happening so you will go into labor in this time. A few days to a couple weeks is so broad, but I understand everyone is different. I guess this is just getting me ready for all the not knowing what is going to happen of having a little one!

I'm 37.6 as well and lost mine Friday.   It was larger chunks that literally look like snot.  And it happened a few times.  Followed by a few pieces that were bloody.   
I phoned our unit here and they said it was the plug and could be anywhere from a couple days to weeks (if it's weeks it grows back;( ).  And that some blood in the mucus plus is normal (in case you notice this later!) 
It sounds like you've lost yours!
