Music during csection?

Question

Can you have music playing during a csection? Like if you bring your phone or some small music device in the OR. Not wanting it to be blaring loud or anything but just something to drown out the clinking noises of all the tools

They asked me what type of music I like and they played that pandora station for the whole time I was in there. To be honest though, I barely even noticed. I was paying attention to the sounds of the surgery and the doctors talking.

When I had mine they already had music playing, but honestly I fell asleep right when they started lol didn't hear a thing

My doctor insisted that I play music. They can put the music on for you in the OR (it was broken when I was there so they said to play Pandora on my phone). Could depend on hospital, mine did anything I wanted
