When should I see a doctor?

I just took a clear blue test (well two of them) and they both said positive 2-3 weeks. I'm really excited and so is my SO. A big question is when should I go in to see a doctor????
I don't want to go into late to see one. And is there anything I should be taking to prepare? I'm a bit nervous because it's my first pregnancy..
So any advice would help!!!!

Depends on how your insurance works. You can call an OB and make an appointment or your regular doctors sends you to one. (Assuming you're in the US) Generally you see one 8-12 weeks.

My doctor saw me at 7 weeks! then you will go once a month. I would call soon and you can just schedule it for whenever they will see you.

Make a doctors appointment asap so they can confirm pregnancy and prescribe you prenatals to make sure the baby has no deficiencies and to get you a referral to the OB. It's very important you start taking prenatals, but they are pretty spendy so the doctor will prescribe them for a lot cheaper or even free depending on your insurance. Then they will take you in and give you an ultra sound to make sure the egg attached in the right place(: so do it soon and good luck, try to eat foods high in fiber and iron in the mean time.
