I don't know how to feel about this. ok, so my husband and I live 600 miles from our families because we are finishing up school (he is finishing his masters, and I am in medical school, on a leave of absence for the year though) and he works. I'm trying to figure out how everything is going to go regarding the hospital and everything. obviously our family will know when we are going into labor and whatnot and they can come if they can. well my mother in law wants to stay with us for a week and I'm firstly, not used to having someone at my house for that long and secondly, I don't know that I would want her there for the week that he has just been born. I kind of want time to adjust just my husband baby and I. I feel like it would be overwhelming ? idk, thoughts?
