Hemmrhoids

Since last night the hemmrhoid has shrink but it still hurts, I put tucks wipes around it a left it there. After every time I go potty I would change the tucks wipe. This morning I woke up still in pain but the hemmrhoid has shrunk. What does that means if it shrunk but still very painful? Its Monday an my next OBGYN appointment is Wednesday, should I wait that long to be checked?
