No Condom?

I've been on birth control for a while now. I stopped taking it for about two months though because I had to switch the pills I was taking. I've been back on it for almost a month now. I REALLY want to have sex with my boyfriend without a condom because I've heard it feels amazing but I'm also super worried about possibly getting pregnant. I need some advice......I've heard that BC isn't 100% effective unless you've been on it for at least 3 months. Should we be ok to do it without a condom or should I wait until I hit the 3 month mark again?
