Which is better?

So me and SO rent out a room, and as of right now we are planning to stay in the room save up money up until the baby is born, here's our problem, we don't have much room so we'll only be buying the things we really need. But we are stuck with whether we should buy a crib or just go for a good pack and play for the mean time. 
Ideas??

Definitely go for the pack n play with the attached changing table and bassinet!! Gives you 3 uses without taking up any extra space!

I used a pack n play for the first 6 months. But I did just find a super cool small pack n play and I'm going to get it for our next baby so it doesn't take up so much room. It's a Fisher Price Day and Night Play yard. This could be a good idea if you're tight on space.

With a small studio, we'll be going with the Pack & Play first then a crib once we move. I got the idea from a friend who's in a small room and it seems to be working out great for her.

I would go with a pack n play! They do have mini cribs that take up less space but still provide baby with lots of comfy sleeping room

Just get a pack n play, baby doesn't really need a crib in the first 6 months. I would save your money and your space :)

I'd get a small bassinet since you plan on moving after babys born. Cribs and pack n plays take up so much space in my opinion.

I had pack and play with my first bc I shared a room with him it was small but it worked. Now with my fiancé we both r bring a kid in a three bed room and and having a baby we r still doing pack and play. Saves a lot of room

Many new moms I know actually have their baby sleep next to their bed in a Rock and Play. It's a lot smaller than a pack and play and you can get them with automatic rockers to help soothe fussy babies. My bedroom doesn't have enough room for a pack and play so this is our plan for the first few months.

One of my co-workers told me that her niece and nephew has had serve injuries due to cribs . Her niece is in a full body cast bc she broke her hip in between the bars . And she has recommended me to buy a pack in play ! So for a number one safety concern , I'd go for a pack in play
