Is this offensive?

I think that people get offended too easily. I posted this on my facebook because I thought it was funny and I feel conflicted about who to vote for. My brother commented on it and said I have no tact and meant it as an insult to him and my other family who are voting trump. When I reminded him ghat he recently posted that anyone voting for Bernie was stupid he came back and said that I was playing the victim card and that I disgust him. He said a few other zingers but we end result is he unfriended me. I'm a in the wrong here? I didn't mean to insult anyone just the whole election in general is crazy.
