Sorry, but I must use this tool to rant to hopefully cool my emotions. So, about two days ago I posted about my schizophrenic brother who said some unchoice words. I took a breather, backed up, and asked why he felt that why. I discovered that his recent bad outbursts aren't due to his disease.

He has cancer.

So, naturally, I'm heartbroken. He lives too far for me to be with him through all of this, and I would have never known if he didn't come clean. Well, I reinstated Godfather status (I took it in fear of his schizophrenia, but now that it isn't the issue, changed back), and offered to let him to a gender reveal, like he originally wished he could: I mail the results, he sends back a little goodie box with whatever his heart desires. My fiance was all for it as well, as this is his best friend.

My future MIL was going to come with us to the gender ultrasound, so my fiance and I promptly informed her that she would not be finding out the gender, as we will not either. Well, she asked snobbishly "Why?" And upon us telling her we allowed my brother to have the chance due to his recent diagnosis, she had the NERVE to blow up and say "So? He'll be fine, he needs to worry about shaving his damn shaggy head and all and not my child" (my brother is known for his long hair).

I'm shocked, offended, and on the verge of murder, I swear. How dare she....
