What is a good age gap between siblings?

My son turned two in June and I was trying to figure out when would be a good time to give him a brother or sister. I'm 22 and my husband is 23.. So I don't want to rush having a bunch of kids that young however, I do want my son to have a playmate and a sibling he can be close to.

My kids are 5 yrs apart.. and they get along great... my younger one will be 4 years apart from my current pregnancy... so as of now my two boys will be 9 and 4 this year... and baby arriving at the end of august...

My brother and I are 11 months apart and we were the best of friends growing up and still are, my sister is 4 years younger than I am and growing up we never really got along, when she got to a stage of one thing I was in the stage of getting out, when she got into high school I was leaving. So I think with her being 4 years younger it was a little difficult to keep her interacted with stuff I was doing
