Advice please

I think I have a uti (pain when I pee) but it's not really pain, it's more of a tingle. Well, I haven't seen my boyfriend in a month and I only get to see him 1 time then he's gone again for a whole week. I've been taking medicine for it, so, would it be safe to have sex or anything? No hateful comments please.
