Parents never talk to me about sex

So my parents never talked to me about sex and all that ... Except school which don't teach much besides all about pregnancy & diseases. They would kick me out if I ever got pregnant & my dad would literally never talk to me. I'm 17, a virgin and I'm still unfamiliar with much about sex, symptoms, pills ETC. Basically everything I know know, I've learned myself cos of school or because I wanna be educated and look things up to make sure I know everything I can. But is it bad? My parents will think I'm searching bad things
