How did you cope being alone with baby after spouse returns back to work?

I'm really nervous. Husband was of great help and so comforting. How did you guys do it to overcome the anxiety?

Mostly netflix and one comfy chair, with one-handed foods stocked in the fridge.

My partner could only take 2 days off work and I was in hospital those 2 days but me and Bub where just fine on our own you get into your own little routine with the baby pretty fast 😊 the baby swing was a life saver for me' it still is actually just when you need 20 minutes to youself to take a shower or make yourself some breakfast ☺️

You learn your new normal. It takes a while to get into a good rhythm, but I promise you can do it! Be sure to go run errands with baby so you're not stuck at home all day.

My BF doesn't really help he's back to work but he hangs out with friends a lot so it's pretty much just me and her all the time you can do it

I was so lucky to have my SO home until our little one turned 2 months. I was freaking out as time got closer for him to go back to work because he helped me so much. But things got easier for me and I was actually able to set a schedule for my LO. It's still hard though because I'm literally with her all day, he works for UPS and goes in at 8:30 and sometimes he gets home by 9-9:30 & that's the time my baby goes to bed. Hang in there though and enjoy her as much as you can because they grow up so fast!

I felt the exact same way.  I honestly had a mini panic attack the day before he went back to work.  He was home with us until baby was 2 weeks old.  He was such a huge help and I was so nervous and scared to do it all on my own.  I started trying to do things on my own prior to him going back so I would be better prepared.  You figure it out quickly though.  The first week or two was hard.  5 days straight, 12 hours a day, by yourself can be draining.  My LO doesn't nap either so it can be even harder.  It's ok to cry!!!  Just remember that.  I had so many breakdowns in private with my hubby but it felt so good to express my worries and anxiety and to hear him reassure me.  You will do amazing!  Some days are better than others.  Just remember that just bc baby has a bad day today doesn't mean it won't be a good day tomorrow!

I never got the help. Came home from the hospital on Sunday he went to work on Monday. No one stayed to help me. I was soooo bored.

One day at a time girl it'll get easier and you'll get used to it my hubby goes to work at 1pm and comes home 11:30pm it sucks

Just take it one day at a time. Some days are hard some are not. Give yourself a break and breathe. Your baby loves you, needs you, and you were built for the job. It all works out. ❤️
