Condoms only? - know if it broke ?

My husband and I don't want to get pregnant. I'm not taking the pill anymore because it weirded me out so we are using condoms only. Would we know if it broke or if there was a hole in it ?. Anybody ever gotten pregnant using a condom?

He would feel it if it broke mine does. We stay away from the thin ones they break easier.

If you fill it with water afterwards and it has a hole, it will leak.
