When can you find out gender?

My next visit I'll be 17weeks and 5 days but is that still too early to know??..

My doctor won't let you until 20 weeks but my bf is in the Army and won't be home again until I'm 23 1/2 weeks so I am going to see if I can wait until he is home so we can go together. The wait is killing me though

Im 12 wks 5 days and I'm finding out in a few days... anytime at 13 wks or beyond. Insurance wont cover it but I'll pay $40 to find out the sex 4 weeks early!

Blood test can determine gender at 10 weeks. Ultrasound can determine gender as early as 14 or 15 weeks. But most doctors just do the routine 2nd trimester ultrasound around 20 weeks and that is not to determine gender but to check other measurements (however, they will be able to tell you the gender at that time).

Genetic testing can be done anytime after 10 weeks and will tell you the sex chromosomes as well as trisomy 21, 18, and 14. Only requires a blood sample.
