Slow leak? Update

Question

Anyone have a slow leak of amniotic fluid rather than a moment where your water broke? What was the slow leak like and how did you find out? **** went in after feeling even more wetness today but was negative for amniotic fluid but I feel soooo relieved. I guess I'm losing my mucus plug and w that comes more discharge than I was having before.

I had a slow leak,  where everytime I'd move stand up sometimes walk I'd leak.  It wasn't much fluid at first, but as my labor progressed so did my fluid loss.  If you feel like your leaking I'd call L&d or go in. Having your water leak is not good for baby. I spent 24hrs with a leaking bag,  but I was admitted when I went in to have it checked.  But because I want progressing fast enough I was given pitocin to help speed up labor.  Better to be safe then sorry.  I heard you can do the pad test, I guess your supposed to wear a pad and if you soak it in an hour or 2 it's your water.  Amniotic fluid had no smell or a sweet smell.

Yes happened both my previous pregnancies. Being wetter than usual is normal, but if it's a little gush enough you need to change yourself, especially if it happens when you change positions, call your dr. The dr or hospital can swab test you to see if it's amniotic fluid.

With my last 2 I did And with my younger one it was literally a tiny bit leaking like every ten min, took me about 12 hours of thinking why do I keep going potty if I don't need to before I went to get checked lol

If you think your water may have broken go to the ER. When the doctors broke my water last night and barley anything came out and my poor baby girl choked on her poop and is now in nicu. Good luck mama, it's always better to be safe than sorry.
