Torn what to do

So I'm 14w1d and I know within the next couple of weeks we will be finding out the gender of our sweet baby which we are so excited for! However my mother in law does not want to know the gender until the baby is born, I want to try and respect that wish but I don't know how plausible it is. She lives 12 hrs from us and so she wouldn't see ultrasound pictures. However we want our friends and family to know and I know my parents and maybe his dad will post about the gender online and I'm nervous she will find out even though she doesn't want too. My husband says she will find out from someone eventually whether it is one of her 8 siblings, my sister-in-law, us, or someone on social media. I just feel torn how to make sure every one can be happy bc we do want to announce it
