I'm not the only one right??

So my baby had his 1 month checkup today and his first booster shot and when he screamed/cried in pain from it, it made me cry too. I also want to cry at times when he's crying alot especially when I see his little tears😢 It just breaks my heart I love him so much. This is normal right? Like I'm not being over sensative am I? My husband laughed at me and made me feel stupid for it😕

I cried at my daughter's first shots too, it's  completely normal. The nurse even told me, it's way more common for new moms to cry at those first shots then not to cry, and I shouldn't be embarrassed. Your only 1 month pp, that means your hormones are still all over the place, it is completely normal to cry when your new baby is hurt or upset.

My girl is only 3 weeks old but I'm dreading those first shots! She had some reflux last night and spit up a few times and even that made me cry because she was fussy and just seemed uncomfortable. I just hate it when she cries! 😢

Totally normal. I had to go back to the hospital to do PKU and I cried more than my baby did when they were drawing blood from her heel

I tear up when my baby is crying from pain. Usually it's gas pain, and I can't do anything about it. That's the worst....but her shots and blood tests, I know won't hurt for long, so it's not so bad.

I still cry when we have to get shots! My baby must now go for her 14 week boosters and I'm dreading it like crazy! It's the worst! Hubby can't take her...

Thanks everyone, I feel better now. Sometimes when he's asleep and I go to take a shower or get something to eat, I swear I'll hear him cry and rush up to check on him (even jump out the shower lol) but he'll still be sound asleep. These hormones got me all messed up plus my little boy is my heart now the moment I laid eyes on him❤️ Glad it's not just me😊

Awee it's okay I would do the same thing. He got his first shot in the hospital and I literally almost broke down I had to look away and then I held him so fast. I don't like him crying at all
