Fibroids and Pregnancy??...

Question

I'm almost 10 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby 🎉🎉🎉 My doctor informed me that I have 3 cm fibroid on top of my uterus.  Have you gone through a pregnancy with Fibroids. Did they cause any complications?  Especially interested in moms who have them on top of their uterus.

For now my doctor will monitor me.

I had a fibroid on my uterus with my daughter. They found it at my first scan, told me no intercourse or heavy lifting. I never had any issues at all. Relatively smooth delivery and a happy, healthy now two year old.
Now with my second they found an 8cm cyst on my ovary at my first scan. Similar restrictions- no running, intercourse, heavy lifting... Thankfully it shrunk significantally by my 9 week scan and we are in the clear.

I had 3 fibroids as well on the top of my uterus and had to be monitored closely.  Surprisingly they didn't increase in size, and didn't have any complications during my pregnancy.
And as of now, 6 months post partum, my doctor said they actually shrunk!

I too have fibroids and I'm a FTM. My doctor just monitors me and I get an ultrasound every visit. I was told not to worry. Just praying for my baby to grow and be healthy.
