Does your husband support you emotionally

My husband is not an emotional man so he sucks at supporting me that way! Like he grumbled about his back pain and I was having Braxton hicks so I said sorry is there a baby being shoved against your spine?! And he said "nope just have had a misplaced rib for 10 years! You don't even know pain!" 
Then he asked how I was doing while he played on his phone. I just want someone to be sincerely concerned and sympathetic to what I'm going through or to hold me. I thought I could at least vent to him but he just made my pain feel invalid and like I was being ignored anyway.

My husband is such a blessing. He's always asking if he can do anything for me or help me get comfortable in any way. He'll rub me after a painful day of contractions lol. He'll also do anything and everything around the house he can for me to make it easier for me daily with our two girls. Oh he only has one leg too lol so I'm very thankful.

My husband has been very supportive and I'm very lucky, but I think it's important to validate him too. If you're husband is complaining of pain his pain is no less important or significant than yours. Yes you are have BH but he's still got his own stuff going on. I probably would've been a little snippy too if I were him. I agree he shouldn't have said what he did, but I also don't necessarily think your comment to him was fair either. Maybe that's just me though...

I want my mom too 😥 my husband it good for the most part. But doesn't realize I'm always tired and thinks I can work all day make dinner and clean up 😒 just because I'm not "huge" doesn't mean I don't have back pain or swollen feet. For the most part he's considerate buuutt the man ain't perfect and I'm very hormonal so I like to remind him I'm giving him his first born son 😂and if he ever wants to eat another meal again he better be nicer lol

My husband can lack some empathy sometimes, and he forgets I have feelings. He can be great most of the time, but if it involves crying, he checks out. My therapies told me that I needed to tell him what I wanted him to do in those moments. I had a talked with him, and he has been so much better when I cry now. Men are bad with emotions, and they normally disregard pain. Talk to him about how you are feeling, it might help.

If I want a back rub. I have to sit next to him and ask him to run my back. He'll do it but he's not always as intuitive as my mom or friends might be. He's a sweetie but no woman haha

im really really lucky for my husband !! hes the best and supports me in everyway! even tho hes always working but few months ago before i had to travel to america and leave him behind cuz he doesnt have a visa 😢😢he would help me in everyway! he would always yell at me to tell me to sit and dont work hard around the house , always gives me massages at night holds me and even when my lega were swollen i didnt care but he was lik hell NO u cant stay like this and warmed some water added salt and made me put my feet in the water ! he kept massaging me feet cuz my belly is big for me to go down ! i love him i couldnt ask for any one better but i mean we all have pain . u should ask to offer him massage n all nt only for u ! 
no one feels others pain so u should support him n be will support u ! n trust me most men r like tht ! thy arent senstive like us girls!! just ask him to do things for u ! maybe he will if u say so 😀🤗

My husband is off and on. Sometimes I feel so supported and sometimes he just doesn't get it. I honestly think men don't get the hormonal aspect and can disregard certain physical complaints. I try to just tell my hubby when he's being insensitive and tell him what I need. Doesn't always work... But that's marriage!
