Question about breast milk...
Most of you mom's had breast milk come in some time during pregnancy, right!? This is my 3rd live birth. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I still have not filled in with milk. No colostrum. Nothing. When I was pregnant with my first born I lactated but was only able to get 16 CCS at a time from each breast. With my second child I was only able to get colostrum. Never have I been able to actually put my children on my breast and actually feed them. Both of my daughter's were premature and too small to feed from my breast at birth. And the pump never worked out well. Is it because they're premies that my milk didnt come in for me? Now I'm 30 weeks with Silas and I haven't had the sore breasts ever in this pregnancy nor have I grown at all in my breasts and of course he's at risk of being premature because I have an abruption and preterm labor. I will be very disappointed if I cannot feed my child myself. I have wanted to do this for all of my kids and it's my last chance to do this. Is there anything I can do or am I hopeless?
