Asking that no one kisses your newborn on the face, is this wrong to ask?

I wouldn't say it's wrong to ask, but if they aren't sick I don't see suck a big issue in it. Everyone is so worried about germs but it's been proven that babies who are exposed to minor germs more often have a higher immune system. I'm not saying let someone with a cold kiss all over the baby... but a peck on the forehead isn't all that bad. 
Personally I know my husband and I will be giving baby tons of kisses. So if a friend did it I really wouldn't care, so long as they are healthy.

Uh, heck no. Sorry, but your baby will get all of the exposure to germs and such that she needs to help build her immunity. Not to mention everything she got from mom through the placenta and breastmilk. But everything that everyone else has? Her immune system is still fragile and doesn't need to be taxed so early. If it's cold/flu season, I don't even leave my house. If you wanna see the baby, you come over and visit and I can control your hand washing techniques to make sure she is ok. Our adult bodies fight off stuff every day. Why would you put their little bodies through that when they are barely earth side? Protect your little ones, y'all!

No I'm very serious about this I just think that kissing babies should be for mom and dad. My sister constantly gets strep throat and I saw her sneak my nephew a kiss on the lips which disappointed me because as adults we use our mouths for all kinds of things. I just don't want everyone's mouth on my baby in my opinion

That was a thing I didnt even ask people for. 
I think thats just something people have to understand there's nothing to be sad about not even my husband and I will kiss the newborn baby. I'm normally not a bossy person who tells people to do this and that but when I had my baby I honestly told all the people who came to visit us to disinfect their hands and I didnt let anyone but my hubby, nurses, doctors, my mom and dad hold the baby either but they all did understand why and werent somehow annoyed or sad or anything. We had about 100 people visiting us in the first 3-4 days so I think thats understandable and once they came to visit us properly at home again they were obviously allowed to hold her as well.

No one but me and daddy can kiss my babies face. Even if family I'm sorry I don't when you last washed your face or what you last ate and so on.. Just better to be a little paranoid and not let anyone do it but you and daddy
