I think I have a UTI. I have the back pains & lower abdominal pains, it burns when I pee, and I frequently need to urinate. I'm 16, and I have had unprotected intercourse with my boyfriend. What do I do? How can I treat this without telling my parents? Help?:(

You can get a uti from a lot of things, just don't say it was from sex

If you have a planned parenthood in your area they will be able to help you and keep it confidential, or you could say you feel the need for a general check up at your doctors office and just tell the doctor and not your parents. Doctors aren't allowed to tell anyone anything unless you authorize it

If you have back pains you NEED to go to a doctor and get antibiotics. It could have moved up into your kidneys, which is really bad. Utis are very common, so you don't need to give a reason for getting it. Just go to the doctors please.
