When did you call the midwife after finding out you're pregnant?

Just wondering as I called right away last time but unfortunately lost baby at 9 weeks and hadn't even seen the midwife as they don't make an appointment for you until you're 8+ weeks at my doctors surgery!  I'm six weeks now and am thinking of waiting till I'm 8 weeks to even call the Doctors to let them know - thoughts please?

I called them as soon as I peed on the stick. Our midwives are booked up crazy fast and even that's not fast enough.

I reached out as soon as we had a positive ultrasound because midwives seem to get booked up pretty quickly once women find out they're pregnant...

Call now, usually with a history of mc they might see u sooner for peace of mind.

Had my 1st appointment at 8 weeks. I waited that time because I saw her at 5 weeks and then miscarried two weeks later so I hated having to ring to cancel my appointment x
