Tdap vaccine?

Today at my appointment the doctor recommended that I get the tdap vaccine at my next appointment which I'll be 28 weeks it sounds good to get being that it'll help my baby to not get whooping cough but I just want to know how many moms got it while pregnant or plan on getting it & did everything turn out to be okay ?

I will be getting it at 28 weeks. My doctor also mentioned that it would be a good idea to have anyone that is taking care of baby also get it if they haven't had one in the last 10 years.

36 weeks with twins here, having my c section tomorrow- I got the TDAP at about 29 weeks so it could cross the placenta and help my babies build immunity. I have a healthy pregnancy and the babies are perfect so far!

My doctor hasn't said anything to me about it and I'm right at 33 weeks. Why hasn't she said anything to me about it?? I do plan on getting it though

Do you have any specific concerns about the vaccine? Its been recommended that pregnant women and caregivers of newborns get this shot for many years now. My daughter is 4 months old and i got the vaccine at 28w, she hasn't been sick a day of her life (knock on wood)

I got mine the day I left the hospital after I had my son. My fiancé got it at our sons pediatricians office.

I got it. My arm hurt like hell for a couple days but I didn't get sick feeling from it or anything. I'm currently 31 weeks
