5th pregnancy after 4 miscarriages.

Sarah
So I just went to my first consultation for this 5th pregnancy. I'm 5 to 6 weeks pregnant and the ob-gyn told me 3 things:
- the ultrasound shows a gestational sac that is a bit oval and flat as opposed to round and wide.
- she couldn't see an embryo yet, just a very little formation.
- both of these infos are not very promising according to her, but she put me on vaginal progesterone and pre-natals to help evolution, and asked me to test my hcg levels twice in a row this week to see if there is any evolution.
I was so scared of going to the doctor and now I feel depressed. It's just the beginning and I'm already afraid, pessimist and sad.
My last miscarriage was in February at 5 months and it was traumatizing and tragic. I feel hopeless and I just wish this time could go well.
Has anyone been told similar things?
