Help 😩

Guy I've been seeing had a bad reaction to me telling him I have herpes type 1... He won't respond to me now.... What should I do? I was just starting to cope with it a little and now it shot my confidence level way down. If he reacted like that, how are other people going to react? I feel so bad about myself... And I feel really gross.
