19 hours and still at it... (Induction story for everyone asking!)

Checked in last night at 6pm to be induced. Was dilated zero. Received cervidel at 7pm. Started getting "pain scale 8" contractions at about 1:30am. Everytime I had to go to the bathroom (which was often even though i was restricting my liquids for this very point) it was so painful. Received Nubain (narcotic) at 3am - it somewhat helped and I got a couple hours of sleep until it wore off. We started pitocin at 7:30am. Threw up immediately after. Got back into bed and my doctor came in to break my water. It was a crazy feeling. Epidural came at 10:30am. Immediately felt relief.  Was able to sleep until noon. Had to up my dosage of the epidural because I started feeling the contractions again. Just got checked again at 1:30pm and I'm 7cm dilated! On oxygen to stabilize baby's heart rate. I have my blood pressure checked every 30 minutes and my temperature checked every hour (been normal the entire time) Now we are playing the waiting game but nurses think he'll be here before evening. I hope so because I am STARVING! (& I can't wait to meet little man of course!) 😉
