Is ok to be scared?

I think my boyfriend of 2 years is planning on proposing soon. He keeps dropping hints & asking specific questions. He's an amazing person and I adore him. I've been engaged twice before, which both ended in them cheating within a month and me breaking it off. I'm scared that getting engaged makes men freak out and do something stupid. Is it ok that I feel a little nervous about it?
