Just wondering?

Has anyone had to wait three weeks before being able to go to your first doctors appointment? I can't go to my usual obgyn because my insurance needs my primary doctor to refer me. So I have to wait until August 16 to go have the doctor double check I'm pregnant! How long did it take you to get see a doctor  after you found out you were pregnant?

Same. Got my BFP a week ago (about 6 days before my period was supposed to start). Was told I had to come in to take a test at the doc office to confirm, which I did Monday....still positive. They went on to schedule me for my first appointment Aug 11th, which will put me at around 8 wks.

Yes! With my first baby I got bfp on November 4th and they didn't see me until December 9th and I got bfp today and they won't see me til August 24. Says you must be 8 weeks before they see you unless you've had a miscarriage before

I just made an appointment earlier today and they have my first "intake" appointment for 8/9 and my first doctors appointment not until SEPT 19!! Seems like such a long wait!
