pregnancy have a mental disorder?" /> If so, what could that mental disorder be? What kind of help would one seek for this? I'm pretty sure my coworker is faking her pregnancy 😑

Possibly, some mental illnesses have an attention seeking component to them, but sometimes people just do weird shit.

Either way it's not a great idea to try and diagnose your coworkers, or to have anyone else try to Internet diagnose them either.

My brothers ex told him she was pregnant after they broke up. He stuck with her being the gentleman he is. She then tried to say at 8 months the doctor had her to get an abortion because it had down syndrome. She smoked all the way through her 'pregnancy' and I saw her at 8 months. No way was she pregnant. I told my brother she was having him on. After confronting her she tried to say she had a fall at work and lost it. She was nothing but a lying cow who mentally damaged my brother for years. Nothing wrong with her. She just didn't want to stop being my brothers girlfriend. Sure, some of these women who fake it have issues, others are just self centered bitches who think of no one but themselves and what they'll gain from it.

I would say this is under dysmorphia or something. Sometimes when you're struggling to conceive or if you've just suffered from a miscarriage the brain does crazy things to cope, I've been there 😔. Faking a pregnancy isn't always with ill-intent.

Could be a couple of things really...XD but then again? When people are trying to concieve sometimes we kind of mentally give/believe we have pregnancy symptoms without being pregnant.

-.-' I was guilty of this every month, two months before I actually conceived and I didn't even know till I was sick on my vacation.

Well first she has to recognize she has a problem, but until then there's nothing you can do. If it was a good friend or a family member you could do alittle more, but just a co-worker, try not to get wrapped up in the drama because it'll create a shit storm of drama if you bring it to her attention that you think she's lying. If she's not ready to hear that, someone in that frame of mind is a major loose cannon.
