Belly pierced

Hii girls! So i had a belly piercing and i took it off because it was bleeding from under my belly button, I been told that my piercer grabbed too much skin. I was thinking of re-piercing it again but i have a small swelling at the too now. Does anyone know what I can do to get rid of it?
