Pregnancy after tubal ligation

I had my 2nd child on March 2nd of this year. He was my first cesarean and I had my tubes cut. I'm 5 days late for period. Money is tight so I'm going to wait a few more days before I take a test. Since I had my second child my periods have been ridiculously heavy. I mean I'm going through the pad, my underwear, and pants. It doesn't matter how often I change them. Also, the pain in my ovaries with each peiod is unbearable. Has anyone else had something similar? Is that from the cesarean, the tubal ligation, or both? I'm worried that I'm at a higher risk of having an ectopic pregnancy due to the tubal ligation. Does anyone have any insight on this situation?
