How Much Does Bond Range for Possession of Controlled Substance?
My hubby was booked into our local jail for possession of controlled substance. It was his meds he's regularly prescribed. It wasn't in the bottle (had it in his pocket) and he couldn't prove it time of arrest. Well, I called the doctor and got proof that he's allowed to have the meds, not to mention I gathered all his bottles at home.
Anyway, right now I'm waiting for the bond amount to be determined, if any. Bondsman said if there's no probable cause, the bond might be Zero. If there is enough probable cause, the charge will be accepted and bond amount calculated.
But all this might take 2-4 hours I've been told. The waiting is killing me. While I wait, trying to get money together just in case. But how much to get ready? What might the bond be??
