Does birth control help with fertility later on?

I recently heard through a coworker that taking birth control for two or three months, getting off of it, and then trying to conceive again, helps your chances of getting pregnant. Has this happened to anyone? Just curious, because it was the first time I'd heard of it. Thanks!

Personally, I never went on B/C because in my family anyone who's been on birth control has had problems with fertility later. But idk if it's just my family. But I've heard people getting pregnant right out of stopping B/C

My dr tried to put me on it to regulate my periods I have the pack in my medicine cabinet but I am going to try Fertilaid first!!

It worked for me with my daughter. I was using the birth control patch and almost 2 months after I stopped using it is was prego!

Once you STOP birth control pregnancy can happen the first month or take up to 6 months depending on type of birth control. Being on birth control can help regulate your cycle for a future pregnancy but it also can affect fertility if on too long.
