baby kicks?

hey ladies, I am not sure if what I have been feeling was kicks or something else. for about a 5 minute span (2x today) I felt this pinching/scraping feeling along the front of my stomach inside (kinda like a pap feels like but my uterus) (my placenta is in front too). it was sharper than cramps but not painful just was very aware of it. i was just sitting and driving so I don't think it was ligaments and I've had that and didn't feel the same. could it have been baby kicking the placenta?
