Is it ok for me to drink coffee while pregnant and if so than how much?

My doc approved 2 cups a day, but she emphasized to make it regular coffee not decaf, not sure exactly why but I was happy to hear it!

I was a heavy coffee drinker before getting pregnant, I drank coffee(16-32oz every day) during my 1 st pregnancy, during breastfeeding & still at 33 weeks pregnant w/ my 2nd.  Not a single issue
