Until a woman hits menopause, she is capable of conceiving a child, so long as she doesn't have any reproductive issues. The age of menopause varies from woman to woman. For example, my mother-in-law was about 45-50 when she went through menopause, however my grandmother was well into her 60's.

Yes women can get pregnant in their 40s and yes its safe as long as her dr is keeping a close watch on her pregnancy she sure can have a healthy happy prenancy and baby but the rate of birth defects and other abnormalities goes up as eggs do age and shes more than likely reaching menapause but that doesnt mean she cant still try and be successful
