Florida ladies?

Just had the biggest most horrendous fall out with my psychotic father and I'm looking to move as far away from him as possible because he threatened to kill me if he saw me again because I wouldn't spank my son for not eating his sandwich. I'm married and my son is 4 and I'm 6 months pregnant so I'm not running away from home or anything just done with his insane ways and don't want my kids exposed to it anymore. I love love love Florida but my husband and I have horrible credit, multiple pets and no money. Do any of you ladies from Florida know of anyway we could get a place to live down there? My husband can get on at a factory in fort Lauderdale if that helps. Otherwise we would live to be near Jacksonville and he could find work somewhere there I'm sure. We've also thought of buying a cheap rv for a temporary home if need be until we could afford a down payment. Are rent to own homes easy to find in Florida? Any advice would be so so helpful. I'm super terrified because we literally live right next door to my father in the house he lets us live in. Please help!!
