Does anyone know how to get rid of sweaty armpit stains?

Does anyone know how to get rid of dark and sweaty armpit stains from shirts? Also, my white shirts are stained with dark stains under the arm. I've never had white shirts before so I'm new to this. I'm sorry for the silly question, I just don't want to go around with my clean clothes still smelly under the arms.
