X-ray???

Braces and I have an orthodontist appointment and he told me at my last appt. I'm gonna get an X-ray so they can do the final stage of my braces. It completely slipped my mind to tell him I was pregnant. I will tell him tomorrow but honestly I'm worried that it'll harm the baby in some way. I'm in college for dental assisting and i know that you should always be shielded while pregnant and they usually only do emergency X-rays if your pregnant but that still doesn't calm my nerves. 😂😂 any advice? Should I cancel? Or what
