Vagina during labor..?

So with my first daughter my husband said like as she was coming out my vagina was like pulsating and looking like it was helping to push her out. Never heard of this .. But we were having sex the other day and he said my vagina started doing the exact same thing that it was doing when I was giving birth.. Normal ? Anyone heard of that ?
