Spotting or starting?

So it never fails, right before my period starts I get super horny. It sucks. So of course I try a little masterbating. But never fails afterwards I'm spotting or kinda flowing like a period. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it just too close to my period that I'm messing with something in there??
