Heartburn remedy?

I'm thinking the tums I've had to eat throughout my pregnancy aren't ok now but I can't find anything online. Have you ladies been told you can still use tums or if not, any advice? Currently suffering at work 🔥😫 lol

I was told they are OK, but something like up to 6 per day.
