Prenatal appointments are a nuisance but they are important...

I understand that going to the doctors every two weeks just to wait and then only see them for 10-15 minutes is annoying. But just because you started out normal doesn't mean it'll stay that way. We go for a reason. My pregnancy has been normal except for that I'm RH negative which isn't even a big deal. Every appointment was the same.. Pee, get weight and vitals, heartbeat, schedule next appointment. But the thing is, pregnancy is unpredictable . Things don't always go as planned. I just found out I have excess amniotic fluid and have to be monitored and see a high risk doctor. I would've never thought. I'm not trying to scare anyone, I will be fine with the extra precautions but imagine if I never went. I would've never known, my baby moves normally. doctors are not just trying to get your money, they want you to have a healthy baby too......
