So here's a little background, I met my boyfriend 4 years ago in high school and we liked each other right away, we actually kissed the first time we hung out, we had a 'thing' for awhile but I broke it off because I didn't see it going further back then, we stayed friends and have been best friends since and always had feelings for each other, then in November last year we started seeing each other again, we were only seeing each other and we were basically together but he didn't actually ask me out in fear of me breaking it off again. So eventually I realized he wasn't gonna ask me so I asked him to be my boyfriend on February 2nd. Today is our 6 months. We both know we want to be together and get married someday, weve just got an apartment together and we have a baby due in November. I've always said I wanted to be together for at least a year before getting engaged because it just seems appropriate, and so we know we are solid and can handle anything life throws at us, raising a baby for example. I don't have any concerns about it but still it seems a good idea to wait. But I know he's eager to propose and lately I cannot stop thinking about it, I've been looking at rings and wedding dresses and I just can't get it out of my head. Should I tell him he can do it whenever he's ready or should I stick with waiting?? I really don't know! Do you think Im thinking about it because we're ready or is it like "wedding fever" or something? 😛 what do you guys think???
