Waiting for the day af does not show up

I'm just hear to pretty much vent out I'm trying not to lose hope since almost every time I do a hpt 99% it's negative. (Been ttc for about 2 1/2 years now) just trying not to lose hope but this 2 weeks wait is just verrrrryyyyyy longgggg. This month I started with clomid 100mg I also started metformin about a week ago. I did 50mga of clomid 3 cycle prior and was not successful. My af is not due til 8/12 looking for my cycle buddies or any up lifting stories of you ladies who finally got there bfp. How long did it take before you got pregnant? Anything special you guys did? Baby dust to us ladies!
