Who has helped you out the most?

Who is the person in your life that you know you can count on no matter what? And how has this person caused you to know that?

For me it's my mom and I know I can count her cause she hasn't ever let me down.

Mom all the way. She's given me everything I've ever needed and I can always count on her. She's done so much for me and my sister too, she's awesome. ❤️

I think it is important to have multiple people you can you can count on, each with their own strengths.

For me too reliable relationships are:  my mom and dad, sister, husband, two best friends from college... a couple of long term local friends.

If I need an ear to express myself and gain perspective, I call my sister or s college friend.  If I am working out a business strategy, want advise actively, or just want to hear I am loved, my mom is best.

For all around acceptance and day to day support my husband is my number one.

Mine would have to be my youngest brother hands down.  I don't know when or even how it happened but at some point in time it went from I am the big sister and I take care of him and watch out for him to I am the one that needs to be watched out for. My brother is my watch guard. He is not only here for me emotionally but mentally as well.  He and I share a bond and relationship that makes my parents /siblings /husband jealous.  I was more concerned with him meeting my husband for the first time than my parents.. Lol..  If brother likes the person,  the entire family will accept him without even meeting him.  He is my heart and I have done and will do anything for him as well.  Coming in at a close second would be my husband because after 11 years of marriage he is still supportive and emotionally available at all times.. Lol.  I am very very lucky to have these 2 wonderful men in my life.

My dad and husband. I would also say my grandparents on my dad's side but they have passed. My dad's way of parenting was to basically say "figure it out." but he still helped me. My husband says that he will support me however he can with what I want to do.

My mom and stepdad. They have always been there and helped me through anything I ever needed and have always pushed me to do my best. They watch my son ALOT in order for me to finish my degree in paramedicine and work. So they have always been there and since I met my SO he has supported me through everything horrible that I've dealt with this last year. Idk where I would be without him

My mam, she's  been there for me since i was born, even when I pushed her away repeatedly, she's helped me through a mental breakdown,  domestic/emotional abuse, many many illnesses, and setting up and running a business. She's my rock and I'm hers, we spend most if our time together and go everywhere together, she is there for me 24/7 and she's my best friend, I'm lucky I have such a great mam and I wouldn't swap her for anything in the world.

My mom and my best friend. My mom has made me mad MAYBE ten times in my entire life, and all the times were my fault except like maybe two. My best friend pushes me to do things I want to, but I'm too scared to. She knows exactly how to cheer me up and support me, and is closer to me than everyone
