Please.... Help

I'm 12 weeks today and for the last three days ( since Monday) I have had light brown spotting. It started out thick and turned watery with time. My husband and I did have sex on Saturday and Sunday. I have noticed I also have this weird sensation inside my vagina, like a pulling or stabbing pain- with a feeling like I am going to pee. I have a doctors appointment today- but looking to see if this has happened to anyone else before ??

UPDATE: I went to the doctor she did a pelvic exam and diagnosed me with BV. I start the medications tomorrow, but the spotting, still brown, is there more since the swabs taken. Heart beat was strong- think everything is ok?
