I've had my first earlobe piercings for about 5 years, and want to get my second one done... There are just a few problems, and I was wondering what people would suggest I do.

1) my parents are very conservative and this is too wild for them, so they won't let me get it done in their company. (I'm almost 18 but will probably be living at home until I'm at least 25.)

2) for this reason, I don't know if they would make me take the second studs out, so I don't particularly want to fork out £30+ for it to just be wasted

3) my earlobes are quite small, so I'm not 100% if another piercing would actually fit!? I'll stick in a photo, and the stud currently in is 3mm for size ref.
